Well, it definitely helped me with a lot of things but probably not too much in the Jujitsu. It’s very different, and the techniques do not complement each other without the specific practice. I had to unlearn some of the habits from my xing yi training

Interesting I'd love to hear what you had to Unlearn I thought most of the benefit of the shingy would be in building the connected body and sensitivity awareness which in my experience has been similar to jujitsu. Thanks Big fan@@IKFFChannel

Thank you for your support. I appreciate that. The main thing is that the Jujitsu that I train is 100% practical meaning it will translate into a real fight. Mainly the habits I had to unlearn was the understanding of angles against a non-compliant opponent. There’s a lot of benefit in the forms of xing yi, as well as the breathing and body connectivity. However, some of the practical application has been lost over the generations and has not necessarily adapted to modern combat methods. For self-defense very effective but for fighting against another trained person it was missing some things. I’ve been able to fill some of those gaps through the Jujitsu training.
