So well said. And couldn't be more true! I cried because of this. I started to tear up and then I *bawled* uncontrollably. Like oh, no, it's coming down!! *wipes eyes* 😅 I had a very rough childhood and there were certain shows I watched to "escape reality". Blues Clues was one of them. I remember just feeling so calm and at peace when I watched Steve and Blue. I was so sad/mad when he just left and we never knew what happened! We never got closure!! But he came back, and he gave us that closure in the purest way he could. I'm so glad he did this. I'm so glad he didn't forget about us, and I'm glad there's many here that didn't forget about him. I needed this. I think we all did. Even if we didn't know it. Thank you, Steve. Thank you. ❤

@trevorbrune @blackdogbrown I've watched this before but I found it whole looking for the outro song I had stuck in my head. I cried so much I couldn't believe it. The first time I watched it I figured it was because the message is sweet and the memories. This time I realized it's deeper. No one connected to my childhood has ever told me they are proud of me or that I look good right now or keep doing what I'm doing. It's crazy how this person who doesn't know me could trigger these inner traumas I didn't realize still exist. It's so important we encourage our children.

In all of my 27 years on this planet, I've never once been told I wasn't forgotten about, except by the man that kept me company growing up and taught me some crucial things about friendships, and how to work things out if there was ever a problem. Steve was that man, and hearing how we weren't forgotten while he was away, makes me wish my other real friends would tell me this, too. I'm just happy to have heard it from someone, because I'm afraid of being forgotten by everyone, like I never existed. I'm happy he's doing what he's wanting in life, and I appreciate him remembering to come back for us all. I really needed that, Steve.

As a teenager who grew up with Steve, I cried watching this. I had a difficult childhood, divorces, abuse, mental health problems. I was also very physically ill, but we never figured out why until I was older. Blues Clues was always my favorite show, and as a kid, it temporarily took all that pain away. I used to have problems with a self-h@rm addiction a couple of years ago, and my stepdad being sexually inappropriate towards me. My mom doesn’t see what’s happening. Seeing Steve in this video made me feel like a little kid again. I’m still technically a child, but I felt more…free.

It's like reuniting with a childhood friend that you lost contact with because life just took you both in different directions. Blue's Clues was my favorite show growing up, and I was so disappointed when Steve left. He was my DUDE. I’m 25 years old and this brings a tear to my eye. Steve Burns is a gift to the world. If you didn’t grow up in the 90’s-early 2000’s, you don’t know how special it was to grow up with Blue’s Clues. That show defined a generation and a lot of us learned what we know from Steve. He was our first teacher, our first mentor, and most importantly, he was our first friend. Hearing him telling me he never forgot about me made me cry. All those skills he taught us while looking for clues helped us become who we are today and I couldn’t be more thankful for him. Thank you Steve for everything. We never forgot about you and we never will. ❤

As someone who's struggles with an inferiority complex when he said "And look at all that you accomplished" I broke down. Ya know how you never feel like you can do enough? Work 40 hours a week, not enough. Work 50 hours a week, still not enough. Work 60 hours a week and have mental break down. Then deal with the frustration. This honestly got me out of the cycle. Thank you so much for being more supportive than all my family combined. Thank you for being someone who is actually proud of me.
