In LA a few years ago Roger gaffed the intro, just smiled and continued. This is what a true artist does. Takes the risk and gives the very thankful fans what they want. Unlike Tony who has refused to play the intro for fear of making a mistake and bruising his fragile ego. Roger is a legend!

¨bit of a myth¨ ? my solem theory as a Banks fan , is that he didn`t actually write the entire piece based on different interviews responses, therefore it was quite not as fun for him to play it live, supposingly, if it was your greatest child?. I`m incined to believe everyone in the ¨main circle¨ surrounding Genesis, such as Steve and Roger King know about this ¨bit of a myth¨

I've seen Steve Hackett dozens of times since I first saw him at Hammersmith circa 1980, and have seen a variety of hugely-talented session artists feature in his five decades of solo shows. I do however think that though incredibly talented Roger King is, his prominent Fck Brxt sticker on his audience-facing keyboard over the last few years is pretty poor and unprofessional, given any UK audience will be made up of both stances and the last thing any of us fans wants is to be reminded of this civil strife whilst enjoying the wonderful music of Steve and his band; or that those whom did vote Leave, feel they are not equally welcome. Very disappointing. The guy needs to grow up.

This is Steve's band..... meaning they play Steve's music....all of it, Genesis and solo work. Steve has every right to play Genesis stuff from the bands best era. The current Genesis and Peter largely ignore that period and Steve and his band are the only ones keeping the best of Genesis alive.
