It’s never happened to me but I have a friend who was friends with someone for a long time, then they started dating for like 6 months before breaking up and stayed friends. While they were dating they both said for the longest time they hadn’t really considered being together but eventually it had happened (I didn’t pry into the details of how) and then they broke up for complicated reasons and as I said stayed great friends.

I'm from LA and was able to attend a taping of Family Feud for free (they just want to fill the crowd with locals). He was absolutely awful. He was openly undermining the female producer who was just trying to do her job the entire afternoon. He grabbed a male contestant's butt as part of a "bit", which I'm sure they edited out. He came to speak to the audience after the taping and gave a 30 minute long speech about how we all just need to let the lord help us find what we're good at in life and follow that even if it doesn't make us money. So much gross behavior I don't even have time to get into. I don't think I've ever seen an ego so big in my life. Completely ruined the show for me, haven't watched since.
