Get ready to laugh and hear the powerful transformation of what can happen when you know exactly what your body needs (and needs to avoid.) Steve Harvey is on the podcast and shares how powerful it has been working with Gary Brecka, going from the worst his health has been and 5/5 risk factors for the leading killer in the world, Metabolic Syndrome, to sitting down for this conversation with 0/5 risk factors not even 7 months later. Steve talks about how he’s been able to overcome sleep apnea, and take on his busy work schedule from an empowered and energized place - no longer relying on taking multiple 5 Hour Energy shots to get him through the day. We also talk about how harmful sugar is and how Steve overcame his sugar addiction. Steve also shares his inspiration behind the foundation he and his wife run, and how God has blessed them with ways to impact more and more people.

@@MetubeKZbin- I mean no disrespect when I say this, but people who know nothing about cholesterol ask this question a lot. What researchers are finding is that overall high cholesterol, as well as LDL mean very little. In fact, they’re now determining that a high LDL can be protective of the heart, especially as we age. What matters more is the triglyceride to HDL ratio. Another thing is statins are completely useless and lead to horrible side effects, including increased risk of Alzheimer’s. We have been lied to so much about cholesterol and saturated fat. No wonder 93% of American adults are metabolically unhealthy/insulin resistant.

Im 28 and was eating a lot of sugar everyday and I also was having acne that appeared out of nowhere. I couldn’t figure out what was causing my acne. I exercised everyday ran about 4 miles everyday and I still couldn’t get my acne under control. I was on acne medication and nothing was helping. I checked my diet and realized I was eating a ton of sugar. I completely cut off sugar for a month and my acne started disappearing. It was hard because everything I thought was healthy had added sugar and included sugar but I did it through salads and healthy protein like plant. It’s been 3 month with no acne and my body also became less inflamed. I’m still going strong without sugar and it’s the best thing that ever happened to me.

Easy. Throw your meat and veg in a pan. Cook. Done. Too hard ? Shove a bowl with (preferably) fatty cheap meat in a slow cooker, microwave or whatever else, push button, done. Just pick the cheapest meat you can find. It’s also the best for your health. Look up ‘carnivore’. Eat lots of eggs. That kills hunger and cravings. Don’t eat when not hungry. Cut out meals accordingly. You’ll become perfectly happy eating every so often in a short time needed to adapt. Adaptation can get weird but it passes.

@hannahwilson4820

If you start the day with a cold shower, some breath work (Gary recommends Wim Hof breathing which takes 10 minutes), feet on the earth (minimum 6 minutes), exposure to sunlight ideally first thing in the morning and some exercise to help oxygenate your system you can gain a lot of the benefits at zero cost. Get on a Paleo style diet and you’re a good chunk of the way there. You can check a few of the basic nutritional panels with your doctor such as vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, folate etc. The 10X testing protocols would certainly give a lot more personalised insights but there’s so much you can do at home under your own steam. Good luck!

Hey, I love what you do and my personal research for better health (last 10-12 years) has many points of contact, cold water, walking barefoot, breathing, what helps me does not mean that it will help others... the only thing that is a new genetic test, that really rang a bell for me, but unfortunately there is no such test in our country. I have a question, is there a phase in the treatment process that you do with people when the person is not at their best, that is, is there a period when the body throws out what is bad and what has accumulated in it over the years? In my opinion, there should also be such a period when the body undergoes transformation😊 Thank you💜

I guarantee if you don't like kale salad it is b/c you are making it wrong - the key is to massage it very very well with your dressing (a simple dressing: pour on organic olive oil, soya sauce (I use vegan soya replacement), fresh crushed garlic or organic garlic granuals (optional) and sea salt). Massage and massage and when you think you are done, massage it more. I've gotten kale HATERS to love kale salad.

Who would you go to see to run tests like Steve did? Stuff like leaky gut etc? And what would you ask them to do to you when you go to see someone?

Gary, where does a common person take the gene test? Can you recommend a facility in San Antonio, Texas? Does it require health insurance?

My vitamin D is 12 but I have to say Mr. Harvey is a rich man. Well earned. But a regular Joe like me can't afford to see Mr. Brecka

Can Dr. Brecka tell me why i don't feel any hunger. It's been years now that i eat because i have to. It happened gradually and about 10 years ago i realised i have no hunger. I am 71, feel fine. Had health checks and no problems showed up. Thank you.

I took my blood and genetic test 3 weeks ago. I have had no results. No contact. No confirmation of receipt. I cannot wait for the results. I am not famous so I just pay and wait. 😢

It’s amazing the extreme that we all go to. To try to keep living as long as possible. Yet the Bible says we can live forever on this earth in perfect health. But it’s generally Unknown to the majority of people. By learning about program’s or books is very short-lived. Yes, we need to keep ourselves healthy in the meantime.
