Steve Hislop wins the 1992 Senior TT Race for Norton

Today we remember one of the greatest TT riders ever, 11-times winner Steve Hislop, who would have celebrated his 60th Birthday on this day.

At the 1992 Isle of Man TT races, lap records were made and broken as the finest talent in road racing gathered for what was to be a special year. Steve Hislop on his white Abus Norton rekindled memories of the glory days of Manx Nortons, dicing with Carl Fogarty throughout the 6-lap Senior race.
"Foggy" set a new outright lap record of 123.61mph on the last riveting, nail-biting lap, but it still wasn't enough to catch the brilliant "Flying Haggis", Steve Hislop, who nicked it by 4 seconds!

- White Charger - Hizzy at that time, no one would beat him on F1 and Senior. In Road Racing Steve was far superior to Foggy, the numbers and the story tells it. If they believed in Hislop also in World SBK he would have won in that championship too. He won a world championship Neil Hodgson ! I absolutely don't believe that Hizzy was lower. But life is very strange... especially in the world of competitions.
