They're chefs, not professional movers or bodybuilders. Ehhh. Most credentials for working in jobs like this is the ability to lift 50lbs. Fair enough, most healthy people can do that though it's not usually required. But 8 hours of it would take a toll on anyone and I find it quite cruel and inhumane for them to then have to have little sleep to go on and be prepared for the next day. Gordon seems to feel that because Marco White gave him such a hard time in the kitchen, he's entitled to dole out these truly punishing punishments that take a toll on a person's psyche because they lost and to further denigrate it by making them do hardcore physical labor with a disgusting lunch to hold them over. Its television though but I feel it's real in these circumstances and I'm a little surprised lawsuits haven't been launched but perhaps the chefs really do want careers and suing Ramsay wouldn't look that good for future employers. A true Chef would rather be kicked out of Hell's Kitchen because they either weren't ready, someone else was better, or didn't have what it takes to win because at least they would know the truth. But leaving because of an injury or disability, is heartbreaking because not knowing hurts so much more than being faced with the truth. You can see everyone eliminated because of health problems like Steve, Brett, Aaron, and Robert, etc. were broken rather than hurt. That meant he had the right outlook.

God I love the editing of HK. At 0:45 medic talks about a getting Xray and a MRI, shortly after cuts away to an ambulance with sirens on speeding away like it's an *actual* emergency lol.

When I was in 7th grade, I *minorly* hyperextended my right knee by grabbing onto a playscape to stop running faster, I was on crutches for over a month and only was able to even go to school for the very last week of my recovery. Now, I'm 26 and my right leg is at least an inch shorter than my left, and since I'm roughly 6 foot, I have an almost loping penguin walk going on. When it's cold, really humid, or worst, when it's both, my right knee just aches on and off until I smoke a little bit which lessens it. Take care of your legs people, you don't realize how great they are until something like Steve's or my situation happen to ya
