Mark Jackson is getting the Carmelo Anthony treatment in terms of the league owners don’t want to accept him. There’s many coaches who aren’t better than him.

He had a rep of being a difficult employee which is the main reason he was fired not because he couldn’t coach

I saw breakdowns and comparisons (especially from Coach Nick of bballbreakdown) between Jackson era warriors and Kerr era warriors and the difference was drastic. NBA tactics and landscape has evolved and it appeared as tho Coach Jackson was still predominantly old school w/ his play styles. I'd assume this is also one of the reasons why.

Kerr’s offense is much better than Mark Jackson’s. While Mark laid the foundation, it was Kerr who took the Warriors and created the dynasty, both good coaches in their own right, but Kerr is just a much better coach.

He basically stated the real reason why he isn't a head coach at the end with the "will of God" statement. There was rumors that he was sort of a "Bible thumper" in the locker room and it rubbed guys the wrong way. Its not that he can't necessarily coach a team, it's that he wants to push his religious beliefs onto the guys on the squad and a lot of them felt uncomfortable with that. Maybe some guys aren't believers, but that shouldn't affect the way that you coach grown professional men. Keep your beliefs to yourself and focus solely on the job at hand, which is playing successful basketball, not trying to turn Golden State Warriors into Golden State Christians.

I never saw any players come out am said they were uncomfortable with him sharing his Faith, curry is Christian klay is Christian majority of those players were Christian while he was the coach, the issue was the fron office, they using his faith not to hire him.. am glad his sticking to his Faith...
@boskifigueroa

It's cool if you're a firm believer, but don't try to push it onto grown men that's getting paid to do what they've been doing the majority of their life. There was rumblings that some players wasn't necessarily comfortable with having to hear about his strong beliefs on a regular basis, as if you have to convert in order to succeed under his coaching. And if players aren't comfortable with the coach, then the front office isn't going to feel comfortable paying a man to basically preach to a squad of men that may all not be believers. Yeah, Steph and Klay might be believers, but they can't account for the rest of the guys' beliefs and even they probably don't want to hear a sermon preached to them on a Thursday night practice or before a big game. It's all about knowing when to hold off on what you believe in and focus on the job at hand that you're getting paid to do.

You actually think Mark Jackson is such a bible thumper that NO team in the entire NBA would give him a job? And you think he is the only coach who has attempted to impose his life beliefs on his players? Something very PERSONAL happened between Mark and the owners of the Warriors. And it was so personal, the owner pulled the league "White Ball" card on him. Otherwise, it does NOT make sense that a dude who nurtured Steph, Clay, Draymond & Co into championship players would not even get a dayam interview for another league HC job.

God is real and I feel sorry for the people who believe otherwise but a lot of “Christians” take their beliefs to extremes and do exactly what the Bible tells you to not do. You aren’t supposed push your beliefs onto others yet a lot do that very often, aren’t supposed judge others yet 99% of people period are judge-mental.

The problem with Jackson is he’s nuts. He’s a religious fanatic and constantly pits players vs. management on NBA teams. Not a good aura he has around him which is why he hasn’t been hired by anyone. They don’t want the risk. He just applied to be Lakers head coach and didn’t get the job. Tells you right there.
