Why does Steve Kerr always get a pass? He didn't have his team ready to play! He fooled around with too many lineups in the year. Get a damn center Steve. The small ball era is dead.
@garyinternet54366 ай бұрын
I agree with everything you've said. Small ball was actually only ever really "skill ball". The entire system that feeds the NBA has begun to understand this and so do the young players within it. The "big guys" coming up towards the NBA are now looking at players like Wemby and Chet and understanding that they need to be able to shoot 3 point shots and handle the ball the be versatile and valuable. So if all the big guys are working on shooting and handling and getting better and better at it, in the not-too-distant future you're not going to have anyone who's small but really skilled. Why would you bother drafting someone small and skilled when you can draft someone who is equally as skilled, but more taller and with a much longer reach. Genuine small ball was a brief period of adjustment that showed everybody that if you have a load of people who can do everything, then you play better.
