0:49 - I've heard Luke do that legato-technique in a couple early 80's-era Toto tracks, and I've been wanting to learn that pattern for so long!!!! Can't figure it out!!!

You mean as in this Solo ( My Effort from 2013 kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4KXfnuqnq6keMk ) When i heard the 'Chromatic' Lick thing, i just had to learn it ! Guido is the MASTER at playing this, as he does loads variations on it !!

You completely nailed the style, awesome. We used to watch the Luke Star licks VHS back in the 80s all the time. Of course Luke sounds a lot different today. Way to be!!
