Charles Durning that played the Judge was in real life a WWll Hero. He received Three Purple Hearts, The Silver Star and The Bronze Star for Valor. He died in December 2012 and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. He has always been one of my favorite actors. I pray he had a happy and calm life offstage after having suffered so much in the War.

Strong writing, to think about including evidence inside a little girls' bear is fabulous. A great scene is when all three man, judge, and both attorneys are talking at the same time, good acting.

Such a towering figure, both in the good ole days of the 1980's playing Miami's top cop and in this excellent movie. The plot, characters, choreography and the look and feel all came together, alongside of excitement, drama, suspense, and so much more... Love it! My fave actors - Olmos, Roth, Davidovich, Durning! Wow!! I guessed why Klein was not present during the daughter's testimony; he knew she would be asked to identify the killer. A big risk Klein wasn't prepared to take, obviously.

Wow, this was a really really great movie and I find it by accident. I was looking for another movie of the same title probably a remake but you had to pay for it. This was free. I enjoyed it so much kept me guessing thank you for sharing this movie and some of the actors I didknow I haven’t watched TV in 30 years. People have it on, but I don’t pay attention to it and I’m coming to find out I can find all the movies I wanna see right here on KZbin and I get to choose and pick great movie.
