NIIIIICE! I enjoyed watching this many years later and seeing these sunglasses in action. So Spielberg bought them for 60k right? (So I heard). I can tell you while I'm here that a mutual friend bought these sunglasses based on this review. Nice work David. Pb

Papillon is such an underrated McQueen film.

It´s not underrated and never was. Underrated is when something doesn´t get enough recognition. Not the case with Papillon.

Great Vid. When I first saw Layer Cake , in which I believe you see the evolution of Daniel Craig into Bond, I have said to many friends "don't you think he Steve Mqueened it " Without a doubt Daniel Craig as Bond is massively influenced by SMQ. But then again who wouldn't be and why not. I know I am

That's an ok A-2, but it doesn't have a one piece back and the epaulettes are too far forward. But I really like the style of the A-2. It's nice to see them even if they aren't the best.

The haircut on Daniel Craig in the Bond films is very like Steve McQueen in the 60s.

Hey, I have some thoughts regarding the turn of phrase that you so eloquently crafted together around the 4 minute mark of the film. Don't get me wrong, I think your commentary on the relationship between the stylistics of James Bond and Steve MacQueen are bar none the most valuable comparison on this channel. However, the turn of phrase around the 4 minute mark of the the film. Don't get me wrong, I think your commentary on the relationship between the stylistics of James Bond and Steve MacQueen are bar none the most valuable comparison on this channel. However, the turn of phrase used 4 minute mark is sub par. You say, "mechanism of action" as if there exists a mechanism whose function is not to complete an action. That being said, your addition of the prepositional phrase of "of action" to the noun "mechanism" is unnecessary. Ba-da-bing ba-da-boom, if you will.
