I watched the video, but I have to correct you on a couple of things. Steve Perry is 75, not 80. And also, if you read the recent Rolling Stones article dated May 16th, he did an interview with them and said that he just signed with a new record label and will be releasing brand new music soon. He also said that he may even consider a tour as well. He has rekindled his love and passion for music again and is not living a "sad life." I've been a huge fan of his for many years and I'm very excited for his big return to music.

Like everyone else has mentioned before me he’s 75 years old. He’s a legend and those of us that were able to see him live would agree. He’s still young at heart and he’s still rocking his style with some of the younger artists. He signed with a new record label. I think he’s going to be passionate about music. And we are all excited about this. The way he chooses to live his life is his business. I love him completely

Just because he isn’t touring with Journey and maxing out 1 million dollar credit cards and part of the drama doesn’t mean he is living a sad life. Garbage like this should t be on social media ,but Steve doesn’t care what people say , he is above all that and has shown that for well over 20 years. The only thing missing in his life is love but is because he hasn't meet me in person. Im a fan since I was little girl and growing up with his music as my older brothers were huge fans. I remember I was about 9 y/o sitting in the couch singing and looking at his face. I didn't even know what I was singing because I didn't speak the language back then we were living in Mexico City. Oh boy but I learn every single word of all his lyrics just by listening. I even had my hair long and I got his haircut when I was 16. I don't care if he is almost 20 older than me I JUST LOVE HIM! I had the impression he is a pure soul and way so sensitive. I'm ready for his next tour I'll be first line sitting! 🥰❤😘

I don't think Steve is living a "sad" life. He's a legendary singer and continues to have a huge fan base. He's living where he wants to live and doing so in private. He may not be making new music but his music is listened to by several generations and that is awesome

At 75, he continues to be very involved in various music projects that have been showcased in the media. In addition, he is making monumental royalties each time Journey performs. He is anything but sad and washed up. 😠.

I love watching anything out there about Steve; however, please get some things right. Steve is 75 not 80, please don't make him, or me, five years older, we'll be there soon enough. Second, his mother passed before the Raised On Radio album was finished and before the tour began. You say he lives a sad life, I would say Steve is living his life the way he wants, on his terms. It is only sad to the fans that we don't see him out on tour, which we hope he will do once his new album is out.

You have to wonder why rumors carry so much weight! Just the same as everyone I’ve seen, or noticed, why is this channel trying to victimize a man who is, admittedly, older but far from old! At my age of 65, say I’m 70 and I’ll whack ya! Yes, any Steve Perry fan knows he’s signed with a new record label but no fan cares that he’s older, we just want him to be happy! I do hope he finds that special person either way whom he can cuddle until the angels close his eyes and we’d all like to be that souls but he doesn’t seem to mind his life of freedom. Why should we not want him to be his authentic self, with or without anyone? I do want him to have that freedom and wish him the best!

Find the very interesting interview with Herbie Herbert, the band's manager who brought Steve into Journey, and the multi platinum albums/world tours, contrary to Neal's versions who claims to be the 'Founder' of Journey! NS was a teenager!

In all fairness there are those that hate this fan worship of Steve Perry. And for a long time did the rounds of interviews/posting & media writers trying to change Journey's story. They have trolls that try to dismiss Perry's song writing, music, producing - even his stage performance that took Journey to the top - even his iconic, 8 octave voice described to this day as 'The Voice' by Jon Bon Jovi! With this huge adoration comes those still using his music to tour, but resenting it and trying to change history! But fans know, Steve Perry is the GOAT!
