In July one Russian newspaper called Kamala Harris “a half-wit.” Today (post-debate) same paper claims Harris has “a bolder, brighter platform than old man Trump.” Another paper: debate helped Harris “strengthen her lead in the presidential race.”

RUSSIA This is how a real democratic leader, or a Democracy works. More than 1 potential opponents. Please think about it when you find someone or a number of potential opponents who would be voted in by the Russian people for the Russian people. Someone who would put you first rather than their bank balance and unchecked power. Just look at the state of your country's economy and basic civil infrastructure

RE: "Old man Trump" @0:35 Better translation for "старина" would be "Good old Trump" or "Old Trump" (in the same sense). It is used more in an endearing sense than a disparaging one.
