I’ll never forget the first time I heard this song, entering a darkened room on a late fall afternoon in 1969 where it was playing on the radio. I was mesmerized and sat in that room without light waiting until the Boston radio announcer said the name of the band, Blind Faith. Decades later, while my running days are behind me, well into my 60s this song was always part of my cool down. Steve Winwood sounds great here, as always. Also love him on Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys!!

Wow, I absolutely love this song! Probably in my top 5 all time favorite songs. I never get tired of hearing it. Steve Winwood is so talented, and unfortunately a very underrated musician. And Eric Clapton ot course 🎸😁 In high school I had a bumper sticker on my car that said Clapton Is God. I'm showing my age here, so I'll just leave it at that lol 😂😂 Very glad to see so many people who still listen to and appreciate truly talented musicians, songwriters etc from so many years ago 🤘👏👏👏

Steve doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves for being an awesome guitar player. I’ve seen live footage of this song where he goes into about an eight minute guitar solo and it is otherworldly it gives you goosebumps how good he is…. but you never hear about him being a great guitar player. Well now you have.

And also Last Exit of Traffic of 1969, where on the back side there is a live improvisation on Feeling good and Blind man. Steve Winwood, such sweet music, and Ginger Baker, Capaldi, Wood, Mason. I believe this music is sprititual. And never leave us. Love you. Cathrien Drenthe
