Been a deep fan since the days of Spencer Davis Group. Then Traffic completely blew me away. Blind Faith, though short lived, another amazing group. Steve on his own is a treasure. He has more talent and drive in his little finger nail than most folks will enjoy in a lifetime, and he’s shared it with us, all to our benefit. (Plus Steve’s also one of those guys who gets better looking with age!) Keep on rollin’ with it baby!

Still a top master Hammond Organ player! Even knows proper Leslie positioning. Note his precise touch and how he uses the total tonal range: from almost screaming to super mellow. Until pro-level synths were common, this amazing instrument was the workhorse from gospel to rock. It has a soul in its old school analog glowing tubes.
