***** Jobs and Woz have different job responsabilities. Woz was in charge of Engineering the apple 2 and the Floppy drive for the apple two. Jobs was in charge of huslting phone calls finding capitol to have the case made. Mark Mercula put up $100,000 to make the cases. and mark Mercula also took the time to explain to Jobs what the role of the CEO is. People with an Iq of 140-160 are like trees in that as far as their roots go down they have branchs. So during the whoel time Woz has learned about the experience of building and growing a company and becoming an entrepnuer. Which is what Jobs learned. So Woz is just not an Engineer hes an Entrepenuer and an Apple fellow with many experiences at building one of the largest companies on earth.

+Bo Qin it was a homogenous relationship. woz could.never cold call Paul tyrel of the byte shop and cold sell PC boards. I could never cold call people and hustle and I do terrible at interviews. especially with people who are cold but I can build a PC and I ca n code a website. and the people who help me with the website are happy to help and get their production footage promoted. this is mostly kind of Almost sectretly about people on the high spectrum and working together in groups to start a.buisiness. ( entrepreneurship )
@websuspect8 жыл бұрын
+Bo Qin woz could have never called the byte shop and hustled 50 motherboards in 1978. he was too shy. this is about entrepreneurship and how people have different jobs skills work together as a team. the people that allowed me to use their production videos on my website and help promote the videos, I can;t get to silicon valley to.film the project but I can code the website and the people filming the new project don't have a finished website to showcase how their production video shows the development of apple campus 2. that's how my project is working and that's what this is about. it's about using your skills and working in groups to accomplish a project. woz and jobs were good business partners.

If Jobs was easily replaceable than why did Apple Spend Half a Billion dollars to Buy Next computer. If John Skully was so great than how did Apple come 30 days from Bankruptcy. JOhn Skully talked all kinds of shit about the pepsi experience but he never delivered the mac Experience to marketing. and for that I call Bulllllshittt. Steve JObs was a different kind of genius.

This is an interesting video. Thanks. I worked at HP in the desktop computer division in Loveland Colorado at the same time that Woz worked for HP in Corvallis, I think. I believe that he worked on sort of a low end version of the desktops we were designing. We called them all programmable calculators to make it easier to sell to the government. I would love to hear more of his stay at HP. I will guess that he proposed a computer that would compete with what we were designing in Loveland. Their charter in Corvallis Oregon was for a less capable, and cheaper model than the HP 9830 that I was working on. His ideas may have been rejected by HP management, not due to capability, but to the possible conflict with the charter of our computers in Loveland. I don't know but it is interesting to speculate. I wonder if the lab manager there was my old boss Myles Judd? It is clear to me that the original contribution of the Apple was the graphics interface. Interesting that I was working on using a CRT monitor display for the HP 9830 and Bill Hewlett(rest his soul) himself killed the idea saying that "we have too many CRT projects in HP now". The lack of a CRT became the biggest complaint from customers and was added to later projects of course. My lessons was learning what a huge impact management decisions can have on the company bottom line and money left on the table. Luckily it worked out for both Apple and HP. It was fun to watch the evolution of desktop computers and to be involved in a small way.

Me the same thing when I was 11 My grandpa bought me a FM radio kit but I could'nt read resister charts so it did not work. ( Frequency Modulation ) The next year he bought me a more simpler AM radio kit. The following year I was 13 I spent a year in high school studying electronics and learned to read resister charts and do Electronics formulas. that year my computer broke. I took it to school. My teacher said he thought the Signal Modulator was broke. I took the whole computer apart. I couldnt understand the signal modulator at all but i went to radio shack and I bought a New one. I took it home and pluged it in. The New Signal Modulator fixed my computer. in 1998 I took my knowledge of software to comupter city and i took what I knew about electronics with me and i learned to build computers. last year I launched my website applemothership.com to illustrate steve jobs last project at apple. But the website was inspired by Steve Wozniaks passion for Entrepenuership and the blue box.

@MrChangCJ8 жыл бұрын
+Nairuulagch aye, it is impossible to quantify the amount of influence each of them had on anything. perhaps woz might have had more technical skill but without the softer skills of jobs, the product wouldnt have got off the ground like it did.
@davidvazquez85478 жыл бұрын
+Nairuulagch I'd say 100%, but of the engineering of their products. Woz himself has said multiple times that Jobs was the one who wanted to start a company and Woz would never have thought of it as a business. He wanted to give the Apple I away for free and quietly work as an engineer. Jobs opened the door for business, contacted all the right people and pitched the ideas. He did a lot, not everything people credit him for, but he did do a lot, things Woz wouldn't have done by himself.
