Random incidents 10 03 2024

Some random incidents from late last year to early this year, unfortunately my ancient GoPro has decided to stop recording sound and I didn't realise for a few weeks as I only save footage when something of interest happens.
So I need to invest in a new camera before I can continue vlogging my journeys with sound, hopefully I'll pick one up soon, in th emeantime I hope you enjoy this upload, stay safe Smeg Fans.

Ok after reading comments about people complaining. In the bikers defense. IF the car in the outside over taking lane is traveling below the required speed limit eg it's a 65mph road and they are going 55 - 60 in the outside lane (affectively lane hogging) then it's perfectly legal to undertake if said biker IS doing the recommended maxium speed limit. the car would then be guilty of driving with undue care & attention. HOWEVER IF the car is doing 65mph (the recommended speed limit) and the biker still undertakes while doing over the recommended maxium legal speed limit then it's the biker who would be guilty of speeding and driving with undue care & attention/dangerous driving. Filtering through stand still traffic or moving traffic 25mph and below is also perfectly legal to do so IF it's safe to do so and id also like to add its also legal for motorcycles to use bus lanes (except for certain ones in london) Have a nice day people :)

There's actually no rule regarding filtering speed other than the posted speed limit. I believe common sense applies but many disagree, mostly car drivers who hate bikes filtering for some reason.

@@Lister_of_Smeglook as someone who's rospa trained trust me filtering above town traffic speeds and on dual carriage ways going 60mph plus weaving through traffic (which quite a few riders do) is definitely frowned upon and could land you in trouble with the boys in blue. Most Car drivers hate filtering purely because they believe if they have to sit in traffic then so should every one else. It's the car drivers that purposely put there car in the way to make filtering progress impossible that gets on my nerves. Anyway another tip is look out for drivers who are turning right but only look left before doing so. stay safe out there 👍

That's filtering.

Because the vehicle hogging the overtaking lane is going slower than the posted speed limit so filtering rules apply.
