It's great to wander round Newcastle & hear your memories of the place. I loved the statue of Queen Elizabeth II, it's so warm & informal. Really good photos at the end.

Hello Steve, nice to see you in Newcastle. We live in Maybank and love holidaying in Palma Nova. York Place is being developed into apartments and new shops 😊

Always good to go back to your roots even in November. So pleased it kept dry for you even if a little chilly. The only comparison to Mallorca was the drilling noise of the building works.😆😆 Enjoy your short stay , looking forward to the sunny videos on your return. 😘

Always interesting videos wherever you are filming. Odd seeing you all wrapped up with hat and scarf though. What a contrast weatherwise. Thank you.

When you’re walking and talking, it’s super interesting about the places and people. Your conversational style is easy to follow. Thank you. Safe travels home (Mallorca).

Morning Steve, thank you for showing us your old ‘stomping ground’ with an interesting video and lovely photos. When you look at the old buildings it is such a shame that the more recent ones are so less aesthetically pleasing! The tiled photos were such a good idea to retain the old town, and previous events and people. Hope you are surviving the cold. You will certainly appreciate the return to your home - the sunshine and the warmth.

Sad to see what was a bustling market town where I spent my youth. I remember the Rex and Rio cinema. And the Savoy cinema, where saturday mornings being in the ABC minors club and watching Zorro and the Lone Ranger. Newcastle is no different to many towns in UK, with empty shops and charity shops. Nice vid Steve, keep warm
