I can confirm what Steve has said. I tried to help my friend whom had a bee shed full of boxes and combs that had all been through a hot wax system taken away and destroyed ( without a spoor test) . He was charged for the cost and I was helping him dispute the costs involved. There are individuals within the organisation that are lie to the upper management and are zellots. In his case they did not see any AFB in the boxes inside the shed and even took away another beekeeper boxes that were being processed in a honey house that the person was renting. They come with the aid of the police and are both unreasonable and unlawful.

Yes i understand these strong arm tactics. Beauracts suddenly have power and to justify their job. I had same through a TB test was told positive cow. Shut me down. I ordered a retest. Negative. I feel for this family.

There are little to no other beekeepers that would come out in support of this guy. His story is full of half truths. My guess is he's been non compliant and mismanaging his bees for a long time, and it's finally caught up to him. It would be good to hear from other beekeepers.
