These really are beautiful knives! I’ve at least half a dozen of Stevens home-made knives and rather more of the Eggington knives, and I can safely say the ones Stephen makes in his garden shed all the better knives, and his prices are amazing! That being said, the wood on the gunstock and the 400 year knife of a different class. The Wharncllife Patton has become one of my favourites, and my favourites to carry. I have half a dozen from TEW and Stephen has recently made me a pair. I love the TEW.s, but Steven’s are even better. They’re also very slightly larger. As you mentioned, this was originally a Patton made by Joseph Rogers for Lord Wharncliffe, and Steven has used old patterns and a JR catalogue for these. However, Eggington do not currently make one in TheJR name. However, they tell me that they are working on one, or Steven is, and it should be out later in the year. It will be interesting to compare. I dictated this comment, so some of the spelling might be Interesting, to say the least.

I'm an old Navy man. One term we used to use for nit-picking was Nucing it. Don't nuc your knives, Paddy. They are beautiful and perfect as they are. Good video, Sir, thanks.
