I listen to Undr The Cosh on Acast, but I've searched this video out to say that I think Steven Davies is a massively impressive person, very generous about others and very funny too, he has a great story of highs and lows and tells it so well, top man Dave-o!!

As a Southampton fan I’m really disappointed hearing how Fonte handled the head injury incident, really thought he was a good bloke and captain until this. Glad Davis is fully recovered and doing well. Love Undr The Cosh 👍🏻

Genuinely one of the best podcasts I’ve heard, outstanding! I’d never heard of Steven to be honest (my ignorance obviously)but loved the both parts , Great stories, funny times , emotional times (nearly brought a tear to the eye when he said about not wanting his kid to be scared of his face after injury) I hope Steven is involved in Coaching at senior level as wel, surely many teams could do well with him as a coach or even scout if he’s interested , I certainly would love my younger players to learn off of him. Honestly wish the guy nothing but good times for him and family. More than a couple of players now Told same stories about Phil Parkinson so I have no reason to doubt them , what an arse, total coward doing that to players.

Sadly legally it’s sticky.. any Lawyer worth his salt will advise his client to never publicly apologise or even in private.. because you apologise on any level you are admitting some level of liability therefore opening yourself up to litigation from the incident... I’m pretty sure I’m right because I asked a family friend, when I heard SWPs didn’t so much as text Dean Ash after ending his career with a petulant tackle after he dispossessed him .. he told me why(he is clearly a wrongun anyway) ... prob the same reason... not that it’s right 😢😩😡
