Steven Ho Talks About His Asian American Experience

Steven Ho is the kind of multi-hyphenated, creative hustler we utterly vibe with. He’s a comedian by night and an EMT by day... aka he’s saving souls with laughter after saving bodies on the job. Aside from being one of the sickest combinations of gigs we’ve ever heard, Steven’s life-and-laughter saving career is made even more remarkable in light of the racism Steven’s dealt with his whole life.
In this installment of TRUTH AGAINST HATE, we hear once about the too-familiar lunchroom bullying, the jokes on Steven’s last name, the entrapment of the model minority myth, and the confidence wrecking BS that comes with growing up Asian in America.
