I pick locks for fun. At first he starts doing the right thing with something to apply torque and a basic rake. I dont usually rake a lock but it could be worth a try. But then they cut to him apparently cramming two picks in there and using nothing for torque before the lock apparently just takes pity and surrenders.

The writers for season 2 were Seagal and Keoni Waxman, whom directed 9 of Seagal's movies from 2009 to 2017 and he was one of the directors for the series, so yeah much of the dialogue continues to be bad.

I'm sure someone has mentioned this in either this video or a previous episode but Kane is basically acting as a vigilante this season since he's in another country and has no jurisdiction once he resigned/quit as sheriff in the season premier. I'm also wondering if Detective Sarah is on leave or if she quit as well since she is also outside of her jurisdiction (unless we're now adding Vancouver, Canada to Everett County's borders) and doesn't work for Kane anymore. As bad as the plots in season 1 usually were they didn't feel quite as stupid as what we've seen so far this season.

I do know how to pick locks. The first series of shots 10:52 are almost correct. He’s using a rake, but the turner is on the wrong side. Some fat people have reasonable levels of blood lipids and blood glucose. They’re just fat but mostly in decent health. Not all of them. With Seagal, formerly something of an athlete, it’s anyone’s guess. I really have no idea. Coronary artery calcium score could be anything from 0 to well into the hundreds. I’m guessing it’s high, but who knows?
