I worked in post on the show's second season in post production but never met Seagal. I talked to one of the stunt men from the first season, and he said that Seagal would go around set kicking all the stunt guys in the nuts to make sure they were wearing a groin protector.

My dad's funeral we had the actual Navy come by to carry out the service. They did the 21 gun salute in perfect unison together and you only heard "3" shots but all 7 were shooting. But when my grandfather passed away in a different state, the local VFW came by since he lives very far from the military base, and they had their personal m1 garand rifles since he was ww2 generation but they were not in perfect sync and you could hear the shots coming in at different times.

Even for 2010 there is a lot of sexual harassment going on in this show, particularly considering he's the sheriff/chief. Also I love that Seagal's been hitting on all these women over the series and his character's wife passed away like 7 or 8 months prior. The episodes when Kane's wife get mentioned are the only times when he's not hitting on women or coworkers.

Considering principal production and photography occurred only a couple hours away in Vancouver, BC. you'd think they would have done better at getting a lot of the details more accurate.

When Steven Seagal was in his early career back in the late eighties and nineties he was a really good actor by the early 2000s he was horrible what the hell happened to his voice that they need to dub his voice it's not like he's Chinese like Jackie Chan that makes sense the original Rush Hour 1 that came out in 1998 was the first movie he actually spoke English and we heard his real voice every movie prior to 1998 the English voice was not his real voice he blew up like a balloon and he sounds like he smoked four packs of cigarettes a day for 20 years
