@@andrewjones7699 - Steve’s musical genius stands all on its own. I am always rather perplexed when I sign up for one particular talent… and I get another. Like having to take Yoko Ono in order to have John Lennon. Or, if you want David Gilmour…you have to take his wife, Polly Samson! What is this nonsense? I’m a journalist…and if I turned over the creative process to my wife…I’d lose my career the next day. I suspect what’s really going on is that Wilson is farming out some of the work to others, while he keeps himself busy remixing and doing just about EVERYTHING ELSE in the world of technology. He is an amazing human being. I would love to one day share a dinner with him and have a long talk about music. Ninet Tayeb? No thanks!

I had a bad truck accident last week. I found this song and it helped give me the strength to "begin again". Thanks Steven and Ninet.

I absolutely love the way she is directed, or perhaps she just feels the lyrics in this. The way the camera is right there as we feel with her, just wow.

Gosh, Steven Wilson doesn't waste time on little songs. Everything he puts out is so profound yet he seems to avoid the pretentious trap because his songs' lyrically, musically and visually, are true to our human experience. I am still mesmerized by the Raven that Refused to Sing, & Pariah arrived on the very day I most needed metaphysical encouragement. Well done as always! Peace Regan 🌈 from NorCal

I don’t see why no one likes this video just because it’s simple and unlike some of his other’s. This song is about feeling disconnected. By forcing you to stare into someone’s eyes for the entire song you’re forced to feel a (nowadays rare) human bond. It’s simple but geniuses. And that’s the best kind of simple.

Don't you worry, don't worry about a thing 'Cause nothing really dies, nothing really ends A beautiful song, an excellent duet and a great sincere message to people❤🩹
@Lindstad7772 ай бұрын
"Nothing really dies" It is taken from the first lie from Satan in Eden : "You will not surely die" (Genesis 3:4) Wilson did not come up with this verse by himself. The whole music industry is under the influence of the enemy of souls.

This song is brilliant.. Nothing else needs to be said. One of Stevens best pieces.

Lyrically, it is by far his worst song. If there was a Hall Of Fame for poorly written lines in songs, "I'm tired of Facebook" would have a special, and permanent, place inside

What a statement on our time; the emptiness of supercialness, her answering of 'It's OK, you'll dig in again' to the soul that doesn't really want to. And the power of those emotions, mixed. Genius!

Everytime I am exhausted of fighting, I come back to this one. And the whole album of The Raven. For the music with PT, Blackfield and your solo work, and also for producing Opeth- my steady companion through the last 18 years of my life, thank you, Steve Wilson!

3:10 Absolute goosebumps ! Splendid work with the video... Perfectly complements the song. From starting the video is like journey through a dark, gloomy tunnel. But from the moment Ninet goes full on, it's like bursting through your pain, sorrow and grief to some ray of hope... Things finally start turning for good. The moment you break off all the shackles and decide enough is enough ! It's time I take things upon myself ! The burst of color perfectly blends in with the moment.... Amazing work by the entire team. Just wonderful, superb !
