As I mentioned, this is probably my favorite from this album. Like you, when the harmonica kicks in, the song really turns. Although I’d say it turns right before then when he changes up his vocals a bit and the drums really kick in. Just so full sounding. Thanks for hanging with me through all those PT and SW songs. Always appreciate your reactions whether you loved or hated a song from me.

Matt's REALLY going to make me send you a donation for some older PT. 😆 I think this particular song is sort of a love letter to SW's then new wife and daughter, who are Israeli. As I recall, the overall idea behind this album was to dial back the prog and go for something more like the arty pop of Peter Gabriel or Kate Bush. I think it basically succeeds at evoking those artists and their music, but in the process I feel SW sacrificed some of his own unique musical style.

Lol. This was the last of my list and agree that the next ones will be older PT and maybe something from his first solo album which is highly underrated. But likely my next requests will be bands he doesn’t know yet. We will see.

I like that one. Those 3 solo albums Raven, HCE and Bone are all you need to hear of PT/SW.

That harmonica solo was tasty. I assume that older gentleman is a well-known artist? Or is he a session player?

The harmonica player is Mark Feltham. He an English musician mostly playing blues rock. He’s played with a bunch of bands and side projects with some being oasis and one of the Gallagher brothers side gigs. SW did use some studio musicians for some of the songs on this album. And he brought one of them on tour. Was a bit of a disappointment because Marco Minnemann was the drummer on the previous album. But I think the guy did well and sounded great live.
