Never underestimate the stability of having a rear rest. Having a front and rear support is imperative for longer shots!

I’m looking at that out the Springfield 2020 waypoint. I can’t decided between 6.5 or 7 prc. How was the recoil with the muzzle break and how does different ammo shot ?

How is shooting 7PRC from such a lite rifle? Recoil okay for follow up shots?

Nice rifle. The suppressor does not add to your muzzle velocity however… it does not work like adding a extra 5” of muzzle velocity

It depends. In most cases it does speed things up because it’s still extra time the gas interacts with the projectile.

@@noahhorinekit is at most a few feet per second. The change to the POI is due to the weight you have hanging off your barrel or the barrel harmonics. Should not be due to speed. Not trying to be a turd, it’s just false info to assume it adds any significant velocity.

@@TheCodyO with my suppressors it can add as much as 50 fps, but it also depends on the caliber of the suppressor in relation to your bore size. With my thunderbeast ultra 7-6.5 and a 6.5x55, I gain 40fps on the load. When I use the 30 cal ultra-7 on the same rifle, it picks up maybe 20. I do agree with your statement about the weight and barrel harmonics, though. Thanks for the discourse

I haven't shot it through a chronograph yet. The box says 2900 but through my set up it's probably closer to 2800.
