Crazy how she actually didn't write this song too (even though she is a songwriter). Here's what she said about it though: "I’ve never felt more connected to a song, and it’s so weird because I didn’t write it. It’s one of those things where I feel like it’s so close to me that I don’t even know that I would have been able to write it. When I heard this song for the first time, I was literally sobbing uncontrollably, and I was very quick to put my vocal on it and dive in and make it feel even more like myself."

I actually got to see her, 5sos and the chainsmokers on December 6th or 7th 2019 which was their last show of the tour and I’m still shocked I got to see all of them 🥺

I thought she wrote this song as well but I just looked it up and looks like this is one of two songs on her album that isn't written by her. She still obviously relates to this song though. The emotion she puts into it is incredibly authentic. The other song she did not have a hand in the lyrics was "Fear of Being Alone".

Good reaction I appreciate how you pulled apart the song and gave credit to her beautiful vocals. Hey Steven - Lennon has a younger sister named Maisy, and they harmonize so beautifully together. They started out singing together and playing sisters on the show Nashville - you should check out their performance of "A Life That's Good" from the show - I believe they sang it on a quarantine livestream a few months ago.

I don't know if you've seen this, but a LOONG time ago, she posted a video with her sister singing « call your girlfriend » by Robyn but with cups! She actually showed it in the video very quickly. The video went viral and they got invited on the Ellen show! After that they were cast on Nashville. I think she's talking about it a little in the song, about how she had to grow up quickly, being the big sister and looking out for Maisy while she was also experiencing this a different way than her. I don't know. Also, their parents were in a band and they were pretty much born in this life of music and shows so maybe that also has to do with the lyrics of the song. You should definately check the video that went viral out, it's Call your girlfriend by Lennon and Maisy stella
