I hate when people let their dogs bark constantly and don't even try to tell them to be quiet. You're trying to talknti them over the barking . It's like 🤷 Unbelievable. Steve's working again yall!!

Agents are smart to pay few hundred dollars up front if they are making thousands to close the deal. Steve is right too, why get in the middle of who's gonna pay him
@mph5896 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, but the agent also takes the risk of loosing that $. If the deal fell through, the agent would have to chase that $. Better than Steve chasing it though.

Hi Steve definitely expansion joints! Popular in the 1960s & 1970s ! Installed a lot of them & removed a lot of leakers 🤣
@jongonegone1262 Жыл бұрын
what was the exspansion valve used for ? because of excessive heat in the water ? or a freeze up in winter ?? or something else ? never heard of these for inline water plumbing. thanks
@johnamerican1578 Жыл бұрын
Hi It was a sliding joint It was for thermal expansion/ movement on long runs! After working 58 years in the plumbing industry I saw a lot of things come & go !

It's sad that there are so many sleazeball realtors out there... A friend of mine is one (second career, former tech nerd), but when selling the house, he coordinated the work, and paid the contractors. Seems like a basic principle, but I think many in Government and Big Business have forgotten about integrity in the whole "money chase".
@stevenmoomey2115 Жыл бұрын
Another Place to avoid is Hotels. They pay their first bills, then don’t pay. Next thing you know that Holiday Inn is a Ramada, with different owner. But, if you do some research, new owner is just someone in the same family.

Those coaxial cables used to be my office. Most people don’t know where they are in their own house. Used to have to trace them down through junk and clutter and sometimes they didn’t like it
@pooldoctorofclermontinc5788 Жыл бұрын
Hey Steve, we have the same problems with realtors 😂. I do a lot of pool inspections and it's cash up front or the inspection doesn't happen. The same goes for repairs on a pending sale. Money must be paid on site before the repairs are started.

I made that mistake working as a contractor for a house being sold situation, never again, took me months to see the money I was owed for the job, the real estate company made me wait months for the house to sell before paying me, unless you're on their payroll literally working for them, never contract through them
@doc145 Жыл бұрын
It’s simple to get paid. They have to pay upfront. No payment no work.
