I thought that last joint was where you were most likely to have a problem, curious does the filters have any significant effect on water pressure? Also I've been looking for the coupling sweat air bleed fitting and finally found a 3/4 fitting but not the 1/2'' one, could you give me a tech tip and tell me where I can find one, it's a new technique that I would like to try, it looks like you have success with it so when I get a chance to use it I would like to try it, you never stop learning.

How's your longterm review of Grundfos. Was this the Scala1 or Scala2 pump? Any issues?

can you install that pump in a home that has 3 showers and if you run all 3 showers at once will it make the pressure stay the same in all 3 showers if they is running all at once

I cant believe city pressure is that low. We have 70-85 PSI here all day long

Water pressure needs to be reduced before the pump with a PRedV because the pump is designed to work with only so much positive pressure. If this is exceeded, the pump will be damaged. System cases and impeller will be damaged. This becomes even more important when you have the AY McDonald PC2 pump that can only withstand 10 PSI positive pressure.

I’m 9min in and It does good with single fixtures but what happens when your flush the toilet and try to run the shower?? My city just redid all of our meters with these wireless ones that can’t be adjusted. They suck monster balls!

Woks great! Next level truck washing. Nice how you can add a little hot water to the hose in the cold weather. I would definitely go with a bigger expansion tank though.

We've got well water out here in the twigs of western MA. Up and down, up and down with the pressure, lol. I've got used to it after 14 years. I have the switch tweaked to cut out at 70, and cut in at 30. Sucks when it's in the lower part, but is great in the upper part. My reason for doing that is, my pump will always fail in mid-January - never in the summer. I want that thing to last as long as possible! Installed a pressure tank in '08 that was 2x bigger than the last one too. So far, 10 years on the pump - hopefully another 10. We'll see.

We use these pumps when you have good pressure but low volume in that case you have to put a reducing valve on the inlet port.You save a lot on the electric bill if you add a storage tank .The tank stores the pressure so it cuts down on the pump running

Nice job Steve. Do you like those DuraMAC's? I do residential and commercial water conditioning and we just recently started using them for re-pressurization from holding vessels. We switched from the Grundfos due to a multitude of problems.
