One month into a plant based diet. I am already feeling better. I haven't stepped on the scale but I have checked my blood pressure and it is lower. I am convinced my blood pressure is why I have had two miscarriages. So plant based is what I am doing for my health plus the environment and animals. I cant imagine going back to the standard american diet.

I agree. Although it is beneficial and healthy to include a small amount of whole food higher fat plant foods which each meal. E.g. small amount of nuts, seeds, avocado etc. The fat helps with absorption of fat soluble vitamins.

He can't play the guitar for you. There are already massive numbers of KZbins, etc. about this. Just look up whole foods, plant based eating. Learn to do things for yourself.

Check out my Instagram for ideas and then try playing your own guitar. I suggest starting with your favorite plant foods. Mine were rice, beans and fruit. I lost 70 pounds in 1 year. @plantbasedforthewholefamily

Thanks so much for the video! I have cut out meat again and have adopted a vegetarian lifestyle. I still have a problem with eating processed foods though. I will work on that. However, on one of the charts I saw beans and legumes. Aren't legumes made up of all types of beans? Thanks.

Agree with all points but an issue the plant based medical community does not adequately address and typically ignores is that vegan diets can lead to inadequate amounts of the amino acid lysine. Lysine is found in plant foods but not abundantly. It is most abundant in animal foods, especially dairy, unlike arginine, which is found in high amounts in plant foods, as well as is made by the body, Lysine is not made by the body and adequate amounts are necessary for cardiovascular health, a robust immune system, a fully functioning neurological system, etc. Please comment. @@DrStevenLome How weird. When I watched it this morning, after you put up the screen from the American Institute for Cancer Research, that stayed on the screen for the entire rest of the video. I now look at it and it's working fine. It must have been a glitch in KZbin or my internet provider. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm a new subscriber. I'm also a junk food vegan. I'm trying to change to a more WFPB diet. I'm loving the wonderful, accurate information, but I don't understand why you say NEVER eat anything that's "bad." Is it really going to hurt to have a vegan sausage and a cookie once a month? My goal is 90% WFPB. I hope this will be good enough.
