When you check the pen, check the nib. The nib is the writer part of the pin. They can be gold also. I have a 14k nib somewhere...good finds. That dumpster just keeps giving. Glad you folks find stuff and donate. Kudos to you! Tfs.

Fantastic Treasure. The suit cases look like from 1930 to 1940's. My grand parents had some like the two you found only a darker color. Ps this was an exciting DD.

I use old suitcases to store holiday stuff. Painted one cut up Christmas napkins and used mod podge to apply them. Did an angel on one.

A new Tens unit and all the Nintendo stuff, this is the best dumpster find yet!! Lol well in the top 10 for sure...hey that would be a great idea for a video. Like the top 5 or so scores. I know the phone video would be right up there as well , would love to know if you were able to use them etc. Sometimes a follow-up video would be awesome, you know like were you able to gift something or sell it to make money.....so glad you save so many things from the landfill! 💜💙💚 you guys and your channel.

Those suitcases are really collectible . I took them for my son,put memories on outside. Went thru stuff at home I'd kept like photos ,old report cards,his baby book ect. He loved it and his children roared at some of it! I add to it as I come across things.....

If you find hardback suitcases that are very blemished but structurally sound, cover them with beautiful cottage-type fabrics--and keep in mind flat sheets (esp king) make a great and economical look!

The book that's the first edition make sure you keep that and to check it out. My grandfather used to collect first edition books and a lot of them are worth quite a bit of money. Any of those books could be worth quite a bit of money. I remember entering into my grandparents house there was a little sitting room with shelves just full of old books. My grandfather would take the books down and we would look through them. Even as a little girl I was just fascinated. I think that's where I get my love of reading.

I would check on those books. It's a first edition so sometimes they can be worth some money. I love the Crane trinket box. I thought it was so beauitful. My mom used to collect things like that. It brought up some memories for sure. I always got her something like that for Christmas. The something meaning a trinket box of some sort. Thank you for takung time to share this video..
