Hi Steven!!! Great review! This quite the surprise to see one of the rarest godzilla figure from the memorial box to get a re-release! As someone who has the memorial box, i got this for my brother to own and got to say, it's very nice. The paint on the spines, eyes and nails are pretty nice (the tip of the tail isn't painted may annoy some folks, I'm okay with it) I'm a bit surprised that the re-release is a bit taller than the memorial box (my guess the legs) and yes the other figures are much better in sculpt and paint like the gigan rex, this figure is quite nice and the price is basically a breath of fresh air for those who really wants this one but can't afford to pay premium price for the memorial box, this is a nice option!!!

I still think right now, the neca is the best articulated version of this design. And for being the only really articulated one, it’s pretty great

I'm working on few Bandai Godzilla rehauls. I'm just waiting for this one to show up. Then I'll show people how a Godzilla figure SHOULD look. Yean I get great results with simple methods.
