This is my team, my club, my love. I've been looking for that Aleksic clip for ages. The ball is past him and he saves it. When the bug bites you, you can't do anything about it. I started supporting Spurs aged 7 living in... Wolverhampton. Never stopped me.

Great memories and lovely to see the team players rather than just the superstars. Roger Morgan came to our school every week to take us for PE all through his playing career.

I used to come down from Leeds to stop at my aunts in Ponders end in this era and argue with my uncles over who was better Leeds or spurs haha, although spurs were the glamour boys of the late 70s and early 80s

That’s was when Spurs had players who wanted to play for the shirt. I was at White Hart Lane when they beat Bristol Rovers 9 nil, Colin Lee debut got 4, Ian Moore 3 Super Glenn and Peter Taylor one each, amazing game. Spurs were a good team back then, Archibald and Ozzie, Hoddle and more all wanted to play there, Burkinshaw great manager. Sadly Spurs today are not the same as back then, ridiculous pay players demand and the club dare not pay then or they will up and go or ‘sulk’. They believe they only have to turn up and get paid however they play. A Spurs team from the seventies would out class a Tottenham team of today, easily. Cloys

Absolutely correct,they've just made the game easier,slick&smooth football Pitches,the Ball they use wld have only been a practice ball used in the Gym(or for kids playing in the street)the lack of genuine tackling & Physical play more Subs,bigger squads,better food&facilities..But it still hasn't got any better,in fact it'd got worse,with players constantly coming&going through the revolving door means slack of continuity..So as u said a team back in the day,would have smashed today's team out of sight&packed their bags!👍
