Me too. I love her whimsical sayings. They’ve served me well. I loved FM since age 15 still love solo Stevie I’m about to turn 63 . I still dance to Stand Back! No no clubbing privately at my home in my gold dust woman outfit” slaying in my heart full of Stevie!) a fave song is Garbo”

Stevie doing her own hair/makeup...times were much different then!! All were in same dressing room..lol & sweet Robin, Stevie's' best friend...she was lost to leukemia... you're an angel Robin!! Stevie loved you so very much!
@tiffanyroseangeles345 ай бұрын
They Robin and Stevie to me looked a bit like sisters! Maybe coz they knew each other since childhood? ) so she wasn’t a enablers” but a true friend not a business friend ,you know? Someone she could trust tell her secrets to. Then,once Robin passed on….can you imagine Stevie’s grief? Firstly I think,don’t quote me but I think not just Stevie but also the whole FM were hard partying in those days when you had the money and fame ..sometiimes I think she did what her hero” Janis Joplin did we are blessed later she turned her life around. But as a girl that’s been there” gets it those daze” ] things generally must get worse before they get better. I mean I’ve seen,no sadly I cannot go see Stevie in concert. I prefer watching online without the crowds) She’s beautiful true entertainer even to this day when she sings Garbo” i cry. The power of a woman is beyond words,it is her lyrical prowess, Her GENUIS at style ,understanding the power of sensuality not self exploitation at least on stage) wearing lovely costumes ,going in and out of character . Another song I’ll reference Bob Dylan here bc i break just like a little girl the first part I forget only Dylan song I like …..is the Stevie’s song I feel is SO ME entitled STORMS. Thank you Stevie for the girl power!” The music of course, the ability to return to MY POETRY And my own bohemian soul included crystals and complete freedom and hippie wardrobe for some one born in 1961 ❤❤❤

Its the 2nd branch of the mabinogion (welsh mythology) The 1st is prince of anwnn, the 2nd; children of llyr, 3rd;song of rhiannon and 4th; the island of the mighty. Contrary to mistaken belief she read these books after she wrote rhiannon and was overwhelmed how she had managed to pen a song that was already in existence. The book she actually read which inspired rhiannon was called triad by mary leader, & that book is losely based on welsh mythology, while the mabinogion are a lot more intense

pilsnergirl17: Actually, while I do agree that Stevie has a sense of style all her own...that bracelet was a pretty popular style of bracelet in the 70s. As a matter of fact, I bought a bracelet almost identical to it with my very first paycheck that I ever earned. I was pink mussel shell and sterling, which was totally "in" back then. :) But you're so right...Stevie's sense of style is totally....well....Stevie. =D

I hope people go to Stevie's website and write her a letter and ask her too. If she gets enough letters they might make this happen. Come on people- write to her! The sqeaky wheel gets the grease.

Totally unlike todays fakes and phonys, recall Simpson on SNL being caught faking it, and Katy Perry is completely talentless,,,,my has the music world gone downhill.
