She had lost her best friend, she had loved men who couldn't love her back, and she was headlining her own solo tour as well as her spot in Mac... this woman is incredible! The weight of the world was on her shoulders, and she still found the strength to perform every night for the world. Even messed up, she did more than most could do sober, so you bashers shut your mouths.

@@padrepio9149 Thank you for the truth. In this time and age all it takes to be idolized is a god given gift like a great voice, good looks or some other talent regardless of the character. Saw her on this tour in Houston, September’83. Joe Walsh opened. I had second row center seats. I got to give her a rose after her second encore and hold her hand a moment as I stood on my knees on top of the security barricade. The security team tried to shove me off when I was climbing up and she quite sternly called them off. I remember she was crying and saying “thank you” several times. Still remains my favorite concert of all time. She was in good form, just ‘hi’ as hell. We all were. Good times. 🕊🌙🖤✨ 🎩🔮🧚🏼👢☮️

September 25, 1983. Phoenix, AZ. Compton Terrace. My first rock concert. I was 14. Her dad introduced her at the beginning. Joe Walsh opened, Kenny Loggins played 2nd. Stevie came on around 9:00. This show was a benefit for the Arizona Heart Association. The band was the same for the 1981 Bella Donna Tour, which included Benmont Tench (from Tom Petty) on keyboards and the great Roy Bittan (from the E Street Band) on that gorgeous piano. All the music of 1983 was fantastic. So many great artists putting out all their best work. The music dominated the radio stations while MTV introduced us to all of their faces. Such an amazing time. I also really enjoyed the slowed-down versions of Dreams and Sara that she did during this period.

Both of my sons were born and died loving Stevie and Christine. We lived within a couple of miles from Stevie in Phoenix. I given birth to only two children. Josh died at the age of 15 instantly in a car accident. Their father committed suicide thereafter. Then, my only other son died on Christmas eve from a " widow makers " heart attack. Please pray for me. What happened defies understanding and Stevie and our beautiful late Christine McVie know what we had and what we lost.

They also were born and Christopher died loving Tom Petty. He actually boxed and won 5 Arizona state boxing championships , boxed and won in the LA Olympic arena and then won 2nd the nation at 125 pounds. Funny , but Josh had more trophies than Chris from baseball , basketball, and especially soccer. They were born and died with Fleetwood Mac ( especially Christine and Stevie, who Chris had the honor of meeting Stevie. Also Tom Petty. My sons now have front row seats to their idols.

God I LOVE Stevie Nicks! I called the Silver Springs Emporium back in I think 2011 and a woman named Minette Nicks answered and told me she was Stevie's first cousin and she and Barbara Nicks who was Stevie's mom ran the store. I was excited that I actually was in touch with Stevies family! And Minette was SO cool to me she KNEW while talking with me that I truly was a serious fan of Stevie's! I'm her BIGGEST fan and I know that sounds like a cliche because Stevie Nicks has Millions of fans but i TRULY love her like that! She's VERY dear to my heart! Her music has gotten me through some of the darkest periods of my life. I grew up with an alcoholic abusive dad who physically and mentally abused me and my brothers and sisters and on top of that my oldest brother sexually abused me my brother and two sisters and I also was sexually abused by an uncle so I went through hell as a kid but I discovered Fleetwood Mac in 1975 and I was VERY impressed with Stevie Nick's Rhiannon song and from then on I have ALWAYS loved her. It's 2019 now and she's STILL my FAVORITE!!!! ROCK ON STEVIE!!!!! LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!! PEACE RICKY PARKER.

I saw her at the Forum in L.A. during this tour and it was pretty rough to get through. She was rambling and crying. But none of us is perfect. I never went to her concerts to hear her sing perfect. I had the records for that. I went to see her. She got through it and is still performing live, so that says something.

Bless her heart these were the good old days and sadly thank god she made it through ! Because she is very very coked up in this video and the stories of the Wild Heart Tour was when Stevie was spinning out of control with mountains of coke use " and that's from Stevie herself . So glad she made it through the darkness and is performing better than ever in 2016

To Mr. Bustos : Sir, I saw SN 4 times in '81, The White Winged Dove tour, & in '83, I saw her 2 times : St. Louis & Denver. At both of those venues, what struck me about her was of course, her hair style , but also, she wore REALLY REVEALING skirts, black or dark blue, & red-spiked heels. Her voice was virtually as good as it was in '81, so if she was " completely coked up", none of us could tell any difference. Now, in both '87 & '89 , the effects of her depression & use of anti-depressants, which put weight on her , was painfully obvious. And, minus Sharon & Lori, the backup- singers just were not as good. In '89, she had a completely different band with her, & the lead guitarist was---IMHO--just terrible. I think he thought he was Prince --OMG, he just sounded awful, & it hurt her show badly. ---IMHO> ------Wolfsky9, 70 y/o

@@muffin6369 She doesn't perform "Bella Donna" here. This tour was a huge success and most shows on it sold out. She still sells-out huge concerts. Her 2015 solo tour was the #10 grossing tour. I've read comments by really hard core Stevie fans who WILL NOT allow her to ber ciricized in any way. I have praised her and criticized her. She was the best with her beautiful contralto on the Tusk tour (Sara here on yt) and she also looked gorgeous. I don't know how considering how crazy Lindsey got on that tour!! LOL!

And Omg, when she said she wasn't talking because they were filming, but that she'd love to talk to them, I couldn't help but say out loud, "Go ahead and talk! PLEASE do so, I'd LOVE to hear what you have to say". ,Absolutely LOVE her singing and speaking voice!!! So unique and yet so very familiar. This awesome woman is one of the few celebrities I've ever wanted to meet or even merely be in close proximity to, just to see if her personality was anything like I imagine it to be. I'm sure I would be disappointed, cuz who could live up to anyone else's expectations? But... even now, at my age, which is12 years younger than her, btw, just the experience of being in close enough proximity to merely watch and listen to her merely being her true self, would be a dream come true and well worth the disappointment!!!

I a huge Stevie fan!! I am not one of them that believes she is infallible however that said... yes she is high but that's not necessarily why she changes the words or even messed up the words. When you sing a song thousands of times it's normal to mix them up or even change them for your own sanity/amusement. I saw this tour and even though it's clear that she is high it made it at times more interesting . Perfection is boring. I enjoyed it then and I enjoy it now. I am sorry that y'all don't.

Yep. Mountains of coke is right, and shes clearly by her own admission, totally trashed....but those were the times. She was and is still a lady, and now 2021, better than ever. No one else in the world like Stevie Nicks

It's called years of blow and brandy that had blown her voice. Remember what Whitney Houston sounded like at the end?

Ya think? It's called booze, blow, Quaaludes, pot etc I'm so glad she recovered. It kills me though Stevie fiends just think EVERY single performance was awesome. Kudos for being a discerning listener.

Clothes hardly hanging on like they may fall off. She's stoned......always was back in these days.......most of the people around her where as well very stoned. Stevie talks at length about how they bought cocaine for not only herself but 500 of their friends. It was known that it would come in huge warehouse barrels full of the bags of coke and they would buy a dozen barrels at a time.....no joke, that's what really went on.

Saw the concert in Dallas 1983. Sorry to say it was not very good. Messed up lyrics etc., it was a far cry from her Bella Donna concert in 1981 which was pure perfection!

Agree 100%! I saw both shows in Dallas and the Bella Donna tour was perfection, while the Wild Heart show was pretty bad.

She does seem out of sorts here. She probably was exhausted from fronting Mac and having a solo career. She still gives a good show though😊

Horrible video and sound quality all made irrelevant by the awesomeness of 1980's Stevie Nicks. The word "precious" comes to mind.

This is when she really started to go DOWN. Voice bad, off key etc and her whole demeanor. When you use a lot of for a long period of time like she said "First thing I thought of in AM last thing in PM." AND all freaking day too. The thing is a line doesn't last that long. god listen to her Dreams horrible! Glad she recovered.
