Every performance of TIN PAN ALLEY that I've seen are different but ALL show fire and passion! Glad SRV found sobriety and showed the world he still can play some nasty Blues!

I lived in Austin TX in the mid to late 80's, saw Stevie play several times. Mostly the local bars and several of Austin's festivals. Absolutely incredible to see him play. Thank you for posting this. So many memories.

Never gets old! There are great guitar players but he is THE BEST of the best. Some are possessed by their guitars. Stevie's guitar is possessed by HIM. Just mesmerizing.

First time seeing this performance of this song by Stevie (I've seen others) and it was the best. Even though he's crapped out of his mind. Amazing.

My absolute favorite Blues with an incomparable performance by Stevie Ray... his voice as smooth as can be ... comes in after that heavy guitar solo ... how does a man do both... intensity and feeling... I don't know.. but Stevie had it in multiples !!!!

this is at the height of his addiction he's so fucked up he prob. doesn't know where he is but he never misses a beat never hits a wrong note as a matter of fact prob. his best performance of this song he ever did. He never played better than when he was tore out of frame [ my opinion ]

I agree, when he was on coke he pulled licks out of his ass whereas when he was sober he was somewhat repetitive still occasionally pulled some out thoigh

11:13 Stevie really ran his amps on 10. His guitar volume was on like 4-5 to get that tone. That’s insanely good to know..

John Mayer said other guitarists incl himself can only play like this maybe 20 minutes and even then it's rare. Then they're on the floor done.
