This is one of those songs that's better the second time around, don't be too harsh on your first video, most people listening to it the first time, fans included would've thought it was about his relationship with Kim. With this one specifically you're not supposed to know until the last line. It's funny Stevies acting like he missed something the first time around but there's nothing to miss. One line was "all i do is rap" but that's about it. There's no actual double entendres or hints, just writing that can be heard both ways. In other words, the last line is supposed to "get you" lol

I've been on the Eminem wagon since he dropped slim shady LP in '98. I was 12 years old hiding that album from my mom haha... The thing I respect most about Eminem is that sometimes it's not just bars but entire schemes that are double entrandres. The level of complexity in his word play is on another level, you have to be an Eminem scholar to catch them all now - that's why so many people dismiss him cause they literally not smart enough to grasp what they are hearing. Thank God I found your channel when I did or I would probably still be believing Eminem fell off like I did around about the time Encore dropped. I stopped listening to Em at that time thinking he became trash and I thought that right up until Kamakaze came out and I saw a Scriptwork vid breaking down BELIEVE off of the revival album and it blew my mind how much I was missing, not long after that I found your channel and thanks to you it's like I'm hearing Eminem for the first time. It's changed hip hop for me, I still LOVE all the old songs I used to love but it's hard for me to like new guys now cause I notice just how much they are not doing and how simple and easy their lyrics/verses are. I come here for All my Eminem songs now same goes with any high level lyricists like Slaughterhouse and to a lesser extent Hopsin, Kendric, J.Cole and Joyner. Whenever I find myself catching 1 or 2 bars from a new song I always check here to see if you've done a reaction to see what else I've missed on it.👍

Why he's one of my favorite artists period. He creates so many easter egg bars/doubles that you just won't catch unless you know his story and his catalog of songs. So many references. It's like he makes a great music period for the lazy listener, but he doesn't just stop there..... he creates another level for the fans who know what's up. It's quite incredible. Em doesn't do love songs ... And if he does, it's usually a double or he'd just clownin.

I watched that first video, and I have always appreciated your open mindedness to give Em a chance! Also, you are actually teaching us with how we need to look back at our self, and hold a fair critique so you can grow as a channel!!!

You're right. Eminem's life story hooked up with his crazy pen game is what puts him leagues ahead of everyone else.

Omg I've heard this song at least 10 times and I've never realized this. Sometimes I focus too much on his flow and cadence I don't let the words soak in. Thanks for this analysis!
