I couldn't agree more... To this day, never have I ever played even one online match or race on all Horizon games or any racing game for that matter. When online play works... which is extremely rare... it looks like lots of fun when people play cooperatively and respectfully. However that hasn't been the case for as long as online play has been around. Maybe one day I'll finally play online when these rule enforcements are more prominent and function quicker and properly when needed. Till then I can only dream about the fun others have and that I COULD be having playing online while making friends since I have none to speak of IRL. 🙄😩😞

I use this as a standard overtake method on harder difficulties against bots. Usually it is the only way to gain an advantage as you start at the back and the first few cars are always faster on the straights. However, not cool when playing other players.

We need to just have some good clean racing without needing to run the trial a lot longer than necessary just because your team can’t seem to win because of two a$$holes. Yeah me to of course there are both DLC Expansions so 16 points there. I've been playing FH5 since day one. I was still doing Trial a year or so ago but because of reasons such like this i stopped. There were times where i avoided rammers successfully but the other times it was just to much. Of course there can be a racing incident sometimes for that i always apologised. I am quite a Forza fan owning Horizon 3, 4, 5 and Motorsport 7 and 8. Been arround for quite some time - yet these shenanigans still brake me down

Do the Trial enough times in a given week and you’ll come across this for sure. You’ll see solo RamDumz like crazy, but eventually you’ll have to deal with a RamDum team-up like this.

See, I try to keep my own ramming to the npcs. It's usually not intentional against players overall. (Unfortunate "acceptable casualties" in hard turns notwithstanding). Im like most and just trying to get the trial done and move on for the week. Good to see action taken against such blatant trolls tho.

I'm one of those players who won't play open unless forced to because of the rammers. It just is not worth the aggravation. I have also quit the coop mode when I have been deliberately pushed off the course repeatedly by the same player, because it just takes all the fun out of the game. I know accidental contact occurs, but too many players use teammates to corner or just make them miss gates for the heck of it. I play this game to relax, not to have my blood pressure go through the roof. This really needs to be addressed properly throughout the Forza franchise.

I have issues with Forzas position syncing being really really bad during races, people will ram you and because the server doesnt recognize you pushing them back you get absolutely flung away.

Yup, don't play online for this exact reason. I used to be pretty good at this game with consistent top 3 finishes in just about all events and classes, but the increased ramming has driven me to play other games or play this much more casual offline.

I don’t know why people find it funny to ram people, like bumping into someone by accident in a race is no big deal, purposely ramming someone out of a checkpoint or something is ridiculous.

This is one reason why I try to avoid that race type in the playlist every week. The other reason is being paired with players who don't use a good enough car and then I end up wasting time because I had to start the mode all over again. I've literally spent hours trying to complete that mode because of those reasons. Plus the people that are so determined to be in front of everyone in the race even though we are doing well as a team that they wreck their teammates off the road to get ahead. Racing against people online can be a pain a lot of time.

Thanks for the PSA, Stevio. I've played all 5 Forza Horizon games and I didn't even realize there was a reporting system for these scumbags. I just gave up on multiplayer unless absolutely necessary for a challenge. Turn10 needs to make the reporting system a little easier to find and use. I don't know many people that are going to take a video, go to a website, upload it, and fill out all the forms. Unless someone really pisses you off I guess. 😂😂

I used to play online as a new player to get these 10 points, until literally I was filled with rammers, blockers, teasers and try-hards that I stopped doing the Trial 10 Race point and I prefer to spend a bit more time playing two x5 Point Championships that returning to them. I don't understand why they do this if literally WE ARE IN THE SAME TEAM!! If we ram AI I suppose it is OK since our team has to win, but against each other?? -_- This makes me remember online lobbies in The Crew Motorfest, reason why I don't play it neither.

I stopped FH and FM online years ago because there was no repercussion for them to play like its a COD lobby. Happy to even know that the feature of ramming is reportable but honestly it should be easier. Go in game click their name hit report. I went to IRacing where you have to pay to play per month, per track and even per car. That got pricy so I can't do it all the time but Turn10 and even Polyphony Digigital have done nothing to make their online racing enjoyable. I guess baby steps.

Another thing i find annoying is the auction's particularly when you're in a bidding war or have just made a bid and some useless mongrel comes in late and buys it out Forza needs to stop that from happening, I hate going to the auctions now

This happens all the time, even in real auctions, whether in-person or online. Whoever is the highest bidder by the time the timer runs out, gets the prize. If you prevent bidding when the timer reaches 1 minute, people will flood the auction with their bids at 2 minutes. If you prevent it at 10 minutes, people will flood it at 11 minutes. You're not solving the problem. You're just moving the goal post farther back. Buyout is at the discretion of the seller. You can't take that option away from them because if you do, then in an effort to fix the auction house, you just discouraged everyone from using it because now all you'd be doing is lowballing the sellers every time. No one likes that.

It will stop some. I've had players tell me they didn't know, and apologize. Others are like these from the video, with "thug life" and "you mad" liveries that don't care. That's when you report. And you saying the last part, tells me you don't know the code of conduct yourself, respectfully. Retaliation is a no no, you're just as bad as them then. Record, report, move on.

In Forza Motorsport as bad as that game is, they actually have a solution to this. If a player is trying to ram you you can really quickly press the pause button and it will turn you intangible and auto drive for you while you’re paused. Maybe this will be a feature in the next game. Regardless we should focus on everyone being genuine and not idiots like those guys in the video…

Last playlist the was a Trail Rally race class A. I was racing a group of other players 6 of us in total. Myself and 2 of my friends & the 3 other players. I tired to make a clean pass of one of the other player & they would block me EVERY time. Then on the last turn of the last lap. I gently bumped then out of the way NOT slammed them. The next trail race all 3 other players were wrecking me and my 2 other friends. Making me miss check points. They smash my friends just to get to me because I passed them on the last race......

I think Forza should enable non-impact, overlap able cars between online players for all races like trial too like the ones they have in horizon life multiplayer. That's the only way to stop this nonsense coz people like this won't change. If they can't physically hit and impact other cars then there's nothing they can do anymore. I had to do the trial 5-6 times this week as well just because someone rams you off your position or half of your team simply quits without actually fighting till the end.

Ranked had to be Removed due to UK Law! Playground told us this! They cannot bring back ranked, it broke the 2016 Hate Crimes Act due to how Toxic it got!

Good people have to learn it's NOT alright to ram people nonetheless your own teammates. Everyone needs to report people like this and hopefully we can have alot less of it in the future. Games are suppose to be fun, shouldn't have to worry about getting in to a Trial with ramdumbs. I just wanted to add that not every QUIT is a RAGE QUIT. I have an XBOX ONE which means I am SLOWER because of a 30 FPS max. The best I can do in these trials is try to pass 1 or 2 AI and hold position (I did win ONCE). If I see that I am not contributing and our team is LOSING I quit to help out the team. Of course the RAMMERS have pushed me out of checkpoints many times causing me to leave because I am DEAD WEIGHT at that point.

Rammers, hackers of any sort i see get reported. The issue is, does anything actually happen to them when you report through XBOX directly. In all honesty, the devs need to expand on the 'report a licence plate' so you can report players for these actions and hacking.

You have to record them in the act. I don't even know how. So many people go out of their way to ram you it's sick. On the other hand every once in a great while you'll find a good person in these races. I remember once I had an accident and bumped another team mate out and he missed the gate. I waited for him. He came back, I let him have the lead in the next turn we were back to racing. Later our third team mate decided to go on a ram fest and nailed me. He went and rammed him for me. To me it's next to impossible not to bump another player when racing. Ramming is a different story. Specially when the meta is taking crappy tires and having all motor.

The best is intermediate tires (B-class street: A-Class sport: S-class semi-slick), rwd, good weight balance and a more power than usual instead of blow up your motor usual. Chassis rigidity is a must, people think more weight isn’t good. It is when your car can handle corners better. Tweak to your liking

They were slow around turns because they're sideways. How am I not going to bump them when I can go through the turn much faster? Since there were alot of turns they never got a straight for them to leave me in the dust. Finally there was but it was more near the end.

That's exactly why i don't play online. I'm only doing every week events because i'm forced to. Every trial i can play alone i do it. The way to report is really anoying... I have to record EVERY race i do because of these type of racers (if you can call that people that) PGG should have add penalties for ramming into your own teammate but they'll never do that because all they care about is making money.

I wish THE Crew Motorfest had a CODE OF CONDUCT, ITS WHY I JUST WILL NOT RACE THE GRAND RACE, the only time I do is when the ghost modifier is on, and that's it. I've never tried multi-player in Forza, especially because of silly is like this.

I got suspended for 2 days a week ago. I was steadily rammed or shoved out of a checkpoint by my teamates in Trial.. I rammed one back. Laughed and then was attacked by 3 of them.. so I held back and earned a DND. 25 hours later I was suspended with no right to contest. My point is BE CAREFUL and dont return the favor.

I’m all for ramming and messing around, but only when you’re in a convoy with people you know who are also doing the latter. If you’re racing with random people online, this is completely unacceptable and frankly just stupid. Y’all are on the same team, act like it.

Look at the cheaters on the leaderboards. The Devs don't care. The quick and dirty fix is to remove collisions with all other cars. All opponents are ghosts.

At the risk of sounding like broken record, this is just another example of why I don't get into any online events. It also restricts rewards as a result, but hey, I game to have fun, not rage or screw others over. So, unless it's people I know, you can bet I won't be joining any multiplayer events. It's why I have hth turned off. Annoying when I'm running a '68 Mustang for practice and I get inundated with idiots in Vulcans and Mclarens trying to get me to race, crowding me, getting in my way, etc. Sure, they're ghosts, but its still visually annoying and takes me off my line. Like, dude, get effing real. I ain't running my A-class Mustang against your kitted out S2 hypercar. Go bug your momma....

I don’t play online much because I’m afraid I’ll get reported because I do crash into people. I don’t use cars for brakes or ram. Like this. I play 1 maybe 2 trials a week, whether we win or lose. I really do my best to just get out of folks way if I am f-cking people up.. A lot of times j just end up stopping and let everyone pass and drive around by myself and the timer runs out on me. would be cool if horizon had the same options that FM has for very low vision people like myself. I’m disabled. (Brain cancer/TBI’S from 2 surgeries. Lost half vision in left hemisphere of both eyes, left side weakness and numbness from a stroke during second brain surgery. I’ve only won 1 race, myself . Sad, I know. Sorry for the diatribe. Thanks for coming to My Ted talk.

I can count on one hand how may trials ive done on fh5 they just arent worth the headache they dont even offer decent enough rewards for the stress of trying to get enough decent drivers who aren't greifers i just spend 30 or so mins grind out 20 points to get any unique cars then rarely touch fh5 until the next week and hop back into fh4 instead

It's been like this since the first online forza games. Nothing changes . That's why i hardly ever play online.. playground and turn ten don't care about all this or cheaters. . It won't change. But good luck trying, though. .
