Love following along your adventures, Stew. Super handmade wooden barrels, gorgeous tables and chairs! The young man's hospitality toward you reminded me of having a British girl, Annabel, come to our home, to dinner, years ago...we fed many other foreign students from the local college, too, those who couldn't go home for holidays. It was great fun and we learned a lot! Glad you are being welcomed so heartily there!!

Aww lovely video again stew 🙌🏼 lovely people loving the atmosphere created by the locals, how beautiful 💜 and again, Albania is looking just like a Spanish type holiday destination tbh and it’s really nice. Thank you for the share… I’m taking me and my 2 year old off abroad in 2 weeks and not sure where to go yet. Going to be a pick of the hat 🙌🏼💜 p.s, don’t know if it was just my end but the video glitches out when your on the beach for a minute or two 💜

I'm just back from travelling Romania, Bucharest and up into Sinaia and Brasov. Great people, fantastic weather, cheap as chips. What is absolutely noticable is they have a far better standard of living compared to us in the so called "developed" west. The people are fit and healthy, all take massive pride in their appearance and how they present themselves. Local farmers markets, and great bars and restaurants. It is night and day compared to where i stay outside Glasgow.

I moved here 3 years ago. Quality of life is unbelievable and that includes health care. You see a doctor the same day. No 2 week waits like in UK. I have never felt safer.

@@stewthewanderer it is near derby shire, easily accessible. Like a Stonehenge structure that has been completely toppled. Still relatively intact aside from the stones knocked down. Strangely cold at its location. A lot. The derby shire “greenway or commons trail” left from a repurposed railroad has Roman mine pits and along the trail some amazing dry stone walls. The top Of the hill area has ancient sheep crops and buildings that are also amazing dry stone construction. The entire area is ancient and appears to have significant purpose. Cheap and worth the visit.

To much big thumb up in Albania; that's not good meaning. 😂 🥴 Wooden barrel keeps good wine for many years. Not for raki. Wine means verë, vera & verë, Vera ( in Albanian language), means summer or woman name. Pranvera is spring or women name. Veri' means north or north wind. Veri' short name for man.
