I'll have to go back and find the build video that I have not yet watched. Also, what are you using for the mat on top of your table? It looks like underlay for carpet. Stay safe from the fires and the smoke. Prayers for Los Angeles, and you.

Nice! I got the cheap 3 D printed Trent 900 and it took like an hour to assemble only because a 1/3rd of was already done. Must be the way it was packed. The only down side to mine is no throttle. It just sets on two copper contacts and half engine turns as it sticks a little. Oh well, its mainly a display next to my 200 scale 380's. 😁 Might get the 3D version of the LEAP. has the fan casing and cowling. Stay Safe out there. Heard lots of well known actors lost homes.

OH BTW, Lemme ask a tech question: Now older fan blades are pretty spaced to allow for expansion (the clunking when they windmill). But do ALL the blades in the other stages do so or do they have to be rigid due to the amount of heat they may have to endure? Stupid question as it most likely may be "yes" but just curious. (maybe it's the vodka in this thing I'm drinking. LOL)
