At 20:31 to the left of what you're pointing out is the one button Sully and FO Skiles forgot to press which I believe seals the aircraft up for a water landing? I'm sure you can explain it in greater detail. Break riding is one of my favorite things to do because it's one of the few activities where I can just stop and look around for a second. It's also one of the rare times a lowly RA gets to sit in the captains chair!

I'm very grateful for y'all who are out there when everyone else has the day off. ~12:00 I love the aesthetic of a big airfield at night! 22:19 I'm a bit surprised the fuel nozzle isn't attached at the fuselage near the fuel management panel like an SPR (Single Point Refuel). It seems to me like a monumental task to drag that hose up to the bottom side of the wing. The little tiny biz jets I fly have an SPR which is much easier than over-wing, but if we had to refuel over-wing, it's basically at human height. Do all airliners refuel like this or do some hook up at the panel?

That’s how most aircraft are, it’s a direct port fueling system straight into the wing. It would be very much more complicated if it was attached at the belly. And some aircraft fuel panels are right next to the receptacle as well. But some air buses are like this, where the fuel panel is at the belly and the Hose is attached to the wing

@ they fuel it all at once. Feeds from the wing and gets distributed to center tank and the other wing via the manifold and fuel lines

At around 28:00 when you discuss the possibility of an inadvertent gear up movement of the handle when on the ground, that could be an expensive repair and a write up on the pilot who did it. I think that happened not that long ago not sure if by a pilot or by a service AP technician. It would be nice if Boeing and Airbus disabled the gear handle altogether when not on a runway. These days it should be fairly easy with the ground sensors system for tracking the live position of the aircraft on the tarmacs. And yes, you've read my mind. Thanks

I don't understand why the WOW sensors don't just lock it down.

The thing about this is that the weight on wheels sensors should prevent it from happening, but sometimes the hydraulic force is just too powerful and it will overcome the sensors. Especially at the nose gear, that’s why the nose gear is the most susceptible one for collapse.

35:18 It is the first 777-200ER delivered to American Airlines. The very first 777 which is a 777-222 (Aka the original 777-2) which is still flying passengers to this day, is N774UA - line # 1 - built in 1994 and delivered to United Airlines who has been the operator its whole now 30+ years of service. By the way, both of the prototype 777s built went on to also fly passengers for Cathay pacific but were retired and only entered service in 2000.
