Stihl 009 Tune Up - Make it Run Well - Novice Perspective

Chainsaw not running well. Try refreshing the gas, replacing the spark plug and adjusting the carburetor. I have never done it before on this chainsaw, but it is not hard.

Change the plug..NGK..gap it correctly. Heat makes metal expand , closes gap when gets hot, hard to start after using.

What are the numbers on the carb? I have a 009 that had a botched carb replacement and I believe it is the wrong carb. I hope you still have it and maybe you have the part number!! Walbro WT something..... Great video!!!

What hole on the butterfly flap thing does your linkage go through? I took mine apart and didn’t pay attention what hole the linkage goes into.
