If you wash the saw with hot water and a product called Super Clean that comes in a purple bottle sold at most automotive parts stores you won't have crap falling into your crankcase.

I picked one up from then scrap yard for $10 labeled stuck for parts got home was stuck pulled cylinder piston perfect cylinder perfect but some how ingested sawdust and seized it up pulled seals and bearings we’re salvageable and while had it apart ported it and she’s nasty got a 28 otw with a full skip can’t wait to see how it pulls it😂

@@Man-Time yessir mainly going 28 so I don’t gotta bend over 24/7 while cutting fire wood but I am interested in burying the 28 and seeing how it pulls also I’ve modded the oil pump so that is should oil good enough for the 28

Mahle is in fact made in the USA . Also it’s pronounced mal-ahh I believe . They make rods and pistons too in the hot rod world . Excellent products .
