@@RayofallTrades I'm seeing a lot, I'm sure the mixture and oil is playing a role. I'm gonna try to sand the sleeve out and drill a small hole for oil as an experiment on next rebuild of a seized one

Hey ray, question. i thought it was a valve adjustment on the stihl br700 that i had to do but seeing you turn over that motor so easy, im now wondering if its something bigger . mine is extremely hard to turn over even with the spark plug out. I can still turn it over by gropping it but it Feels like theres still compression.... i cant find anything about it online . the crew said it was running, then the next time it wasent...any thoughts or ideas??

Actually sounds like it was straight gassed sorry to say. Can you pull the muffler and look at the rings? I have also seen the locator clip for the wrist pin come out and cause this. Finally, check the pull rope for a twist or knot causing a tight pull. Good luck to you. Hope it's an easy one

when adjusting the valves what do you mean by have just a little bit of drag

Great question. You should not be able to pull the Gauge without feeling it rub on the valve and rocker at the same time. Conversely you should be able to put the gauge in without forcing it. Wiggle the rocker and there should be very little play. Remember to adjust when the other rocker is compressed only.
