Your skill level is amazing. You make everything involved in dropping trees seem safe and comfortable and relaxed while your focus during the dropping appears totally on your job.

Tim, when you made the move to come out of the woods, and started working for yourself doing what you are doing now, it was the best move you could have ever made. I have watched your videos for a long time. I think you have truly found your calling and it shows. Keep doing what you're doing buddy, you are a true professional.

You are right. I do not miss dealing with the logging stuff at all. My dad really realizes now why I made the move I did.

Another great job Tim, I never get tired watching you do your thing. You may not be cheap but you were worth every penny we spent to have you over to take down the 23 trees around our camps on our property.

Glad to hear you charge a fair price and not a cheap price. Even without the number 1 thing of all the experience, the customer gets access some pretty top notch machinery for a professional job. I hired cheap one time to get several trees either on or leaning on our cabin. The guy ended up smashing our outhouse. came back a year later to remove some other threats and danged if he didn't drop a tree onto my brand new cabin roof. you get what you pay for.

I can't help but wonder about those loblolly pines here. Would a mill be interested in the trunks of those or would that be too much work for not enough payoff for a larger mill? If not a larger one, would you suspect a smaller custom or hobby mill would go for them if given the chance?

You do a good job, that is for sure. It's something that a mistake could destroy a lot of property and insurance claims. Insurance for you is not cheap. So I understand that it costs a lot to get it done. Stay safe is the goal, and go home when the job is done.

@cotontop3 I'll have to take mine back to the dealer. Mine uses less than half a tank of oil to every tank of fuel. I turned it all the way up too. Thanks for the reply.

@@loggerjake8506 I’m sure you know this too but with the longer bar you are going to need to clean the bar groove pretty often.

No I still run Husqvarna a lot also. If it’s hot and I’m constantly gonna run all day, I’m gonna run a 400 because it’s so light and has crazy power.

Does anyone know how to prevent getting poison ivy...other than staying away from it?? I've heard of using rubbing alcohol.

Long sleeves, pants and gloves. If u think u got the oil on ur skin, then a rag and rubbing alcohol.
@josephboley
@josephboley Жыл бұрын
@@cotontop3 ok cool. I usually use rubbing alcohol and haven't ever gotten it really bad but then again I haven't had poison ivy since I was a little kid. Sorry if the question sounded dumb but I was in the poison pretty thick yesterday and as soon as I noticed it I went and wiped my arms and hands with rubbing alcohol. Thanks for the reply bud. Appreciate ya.👍✌️

Tim I used to be a diehard stihl guy but I got sick of running and getting gas my stihl guy my local dealer was you like the power and that takes gas well brother I’m now a husky guy my other buddy sells Kubota husky and stihl gave me a 562 572 and a592 to demo and I was impressed so I ordered 1 of each I then called walkers and he said he being don walker and had him perform his magic and buddy what saws I’m definitely like husky’s autotune over stihls m-tronic and fuel injected even though Donnie walker modded my mufflers they are, don’t want to say quieter but easier on operators ears Anyone that is cheap in our industry I wouldn’t hire cause well you know if ya know and you feel me fair is fair
