I know I did the same test with a 461 which is regular carb. Might have also with a 660. I can't remember. Search my vids.

Hi I bought a new 661. Only been running the 24 inch standard bar. Seems to not oil very good. I pushed the pin in and turned up oil to the max and I still don't think it's that good. I had a thought can you give your opinion. I was pulling the bar up when I was putting chains on before I tightened the bolts all the way( instead of having it dropped with the weight). Do you think this was maybe making the oiling holes not line up? What's the correct way to install the bar? It's maybe better if I don't hold the bar up when installing and tightening the chain but not sure was just something I was thinking. Only used smaller saws previously Thanks

I don't hold the bar up when I put the chains on. Try that see what happens. let me know.

@@Redbull661 Mine also lacks bar oil-pushed pin and enlarged bar oil holes-think about sealing saw side bar plate--some oil runs down saw here!!
