Our new 50 year old house is in a development where I can't just blow the leaves off into the woods anymore. We have 2 leaf pickups total, and I think I'll be needing one of these for the Kraft bags. Thank you for the review and not speeding up the film so that we can actually see how fast the tool works.

Thank you. I needed this video because images in the manual were not helpful.

Thanks for the helpful demonstration. If you use a shrub rake (or piece of furring with a few nails driven in the end to simulate a rake) in your free hand to pull the leaves away from the other junk, you can avoid large hunks of crap from being vacuumed into the impeller.

That's a great idea, I'll have to try it. Thanks!

@@k30krazy yes it did my friend, especially as I bought it second hand and there was no instruction manual. Cheers🤝

is there anyway to turn it up? it seams a little weak? do they sell a bigger motor one?
@k30krazy2 жыл бұрын
For a blower yes they sell bigger. For a hand held vac no they do not.

Other than for maybe rock beds, seems like a backpack blower and a rake is still king.

I'd agree. Most of my leaves blow away so this works good. Every now and then think about getting a backpack blower still though 😂 can't have too many toys

I actually regret buying this machine. I spend more time unclogging the tool than using it. An employee at the dealer I bought it said the problem is with the shredder blade. He said there is an aftermarket blade that works really well but they were not permitted to carry it since they were a dealer. I have had not luck finding the aftermarket blade. I guess I expected more from a Stihl product.

Im sorry to hear that. I've only had issues with clogging if it was wet and I got a bit ahead of the machine. We've got 2 huge oak trees at the new house here and its definitely a big task for it compared to the old house. I didn't know about an aftermarket blade... I'll have to do some digging for it as well. That would be nice. Thanks
