It's definetly a hurray for no lung cancer, but it is also shitty to hear that you have been treated wrongly and that you have a different and much rarer type of cancer. I've never commented but i've followed your videos on this since day 1. On one side, I'm happy they detected the real type of cancer you had all this time, but on the other side i'm a bit sad and angry because you lost all this time treating something completely different and that makes you not be earlier on the treatments. @@KOKOStern talk to a medical malpractice lawyer. Let your parents look into it if you don't have the energy. What happened to you isn't ok and you might prevent it happening to someone else in the future from that lab or hospital.

❤️ I am 3 1/2 yrs remission from breast cancer and my doctors are now watching for angiosarcoma due to a reaction I had from radiation.

Yeah that's part of the weirdness from all this. Angiosarcoma usually comes as a side effect of radiation treatment for another cancer. I never had another cancer and only had 1 short course of very targeted radiation. It's weird.

I was in the same situation in 2016-2017. They thought I had a metastatic carcinoma in my lungs and many other places. Turned out I had a crazy rare metastatic melanoma with no skin involvement. I was like you as to being both angry, and frustrated, till I found out a brand new double immunotherapy treatment that actually kept me stable for 17 months. Well, that was till I was diagnosed with more melanoma throught my lungs, and a brand new 3rd cancer in March 2019. My daughter found a new chest wall, and a new tumor and in my scull and sturnem, along with some of the lung tumors also being this new type of cancer. I still was, and am fighting the metastic melanoma,but I now have a 2nd type of breast cancer. In 2010 to 2013, it was stage 3b er/or, positive her2 negative ductive breast cancer. I beat that. Now I have stage metastatic triple negative breast cancer that is much more aggressive, and has spread all over. Yes, I still have some anger since I have no more treatments left. But so glad my daughter found it. I'm not ready to give up yet, at all! I will keep u in my prayers!!!

Chemo makes everyone worse in the short term, question is does it actually help. I'm currently in bad enough shape that I might need it.

Chemo does make you feel bad in the short term because it is wrestling the cancer in your body! i like chemo. it saved my life. i had a 7.5cm tumor which was basically obliterated by chemo. Before the surgery i underwent to remove the body part the cancer had invaded, the surgeon examined me and said i can feel nothing. i think the tumour is gone. but he still insisted on the surgery. They inspected the tissue afterwards and said not one spec of cancer was found. So yes - i think chemo rocks! We had a love/hate relationship. I learned to think positively about my treatment and was left with no lingering effects after 6 months of mainlining the stuff. You rock KOKO! We love you in Toronto like a ton of bricks!! xoxo

In the course of my lifetime I have had deal with death to and almost serial killer degree. I'm not as serial killer, nor am I aware that I know one, which means having a familiarity with death from so early on, one could look at the evidentiary circumstances and see myself as a logical suspect on account of frequency and ignoring that I was 3 when the began. So I was really kind of surprised to think of you yesterday evening an I was suddenly overcome with an almost alien instinct to openly sak what ever might listen to ensure that you survive this ordeal, I even said please. A strange action for a self serving atheist to ask any diety on behalf of a what by any interpretation would be a stranger. I have every confidence that you can and that you will.

And the steroids are great for gaining weight!! i was on them when i had the big 'C' 13-yrs ago almost i hasten to add when i sported a 7.5cm tumour we nicknamed Guido. But yes the steroids make you crave tasty savoury stuff that's not necessarily good for you. i wasn't allowed to go grocery shopping for i would arrive home with basically candy like a tray of iced cinammon buns for dinner. I can't help but see God's hand in this and I believe it's meant to help you. What are the odds you'd get that tonsil nodule at this point that you kinda were at game over and now you know your real opponent. It sucks that you just found out but it's a true miracle you found out at all. I think it gives you a chance now, a real chance. This miracle was either to give you alot more time imo OR and hope this doesn't anger you but it could be to give Ellie a huge chunk of money from a lawsuit so she's taken care of if you don't make it. As understandable a mistake that was made its unacceptable and may have directly caused the death of a young man because they misdiagnosed AND mistreated you with the wrong chemo that only harmed your liver and never gave you a fighting chance. I'm hoping your miracle is meant for you to live and not about the money though, but please realize this revelation is truly astounding and you're blessed with options now that could do amazing things for you and Ellie.

Well that's one approach. I'm still unsure if it's a positive or a negative but we'll know more on Friday. In terms of suing them, not sure it's possible and no energy to pursue at the moment. As mentioned it's a very understandable mistake and we can't fault them too much, but it is a pretty big blunder. I'm unsure, guess we need to speak to a lawyer that knows these type of things but again we have no energy to pursue such a thing at the moment. Thanks for the kind words.
